After 30 years working as a communications professional across the public, private and voluntary sectors, Sandra is now a qualified coach, trainer and facilitator doing what she loves best – supporting individuals, teams and organisations to achieve their full potential through the power of coaching and development.
A former newspaper journalist, Sandra is a consummate communicator, skilled at asking the right questions, developing and conveying relevant messages, encouraging people to open up and address the nub of an issue quickly and sensitively. She has successfully built and led teams throughout her career, firmly believing that people will deliver their best if empowered to set and deliver their own goals, within a framework which they have been able to influence.
Her career has included inhouse roles for Tesco, the NHS at local, regional and national level, the Royal College of Nursing, and charities including the Royal National Institute for the Blind. More recently she set up and developed a successful health division for a public relations consultancy, culminating in the role of Director of Talent Development specially created in recognition of her expertise in engaging, motivating and getting the best out of people.
Sandra is a trainer for the Public Relations Consultants Association, delivering training on aspiring leaders and high performing teams.
