Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI)
MBTI goes way back to Carl Jung and is in essence a ‘personality inventory’ – a way of identifying both the differences in people’s personas, and more importantly for the learning process, the consistencies.
MBTI was developed by Isabel Myers and her mother Katherine Briggs to allow the insights of type theory to become accessible to individuals and groups.
MBTI can be used for:
- Self-understanding and development
- Career development and exploration
- Organisation development
- Team building
- Management and leadership training
- Problem solving
- Relationship counselling
- Training in diversity and multicultural awareness
- Education development
